All different... all perfectly correct... for each and every one of us :)

Depends how I feel and what the plan is on the day. It could be any of the following:

Incredibly slow

Very slow

Slow

It doesn’t matter, because I run 😃🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻

I really wouldn't try to compare, there are so many factors; age, gender, weight, leg length, lung capacity... its endless.

I walk fast. Faster than most people would be comfortable with but my run pace is pretty gentle, it has to be due to the hills on my route and now I'm in the longer runs I have to last for the full duration.

Only you can find the paces that are right for you and those will change as you move through the programme 👍

I know u shouldn’t compare for all the reasons u say but I just wondered how I was getting on! 🤔🙂

My pace goes from "I am moving, so it must be jogging-" to "I just overtook a mobility scooter"

The pace that new runners are recommended to run at is individual. It is the maximum pace at which you can still hold a clear ungasping conversation while you run. This enables you to breathe fully and deeply so that you provide enough oxygen to your muscles. This pace may well increase as you get fitter.

Oh I am soooo slow. This is the second time on programme and I think I actually may look as if I am sort of jogging this time around rather than doing a wobbly walk. Have been overtaken by elderly gent walking with rucksack on his back whilst I was 'running'. Husband tried the programme though and keeps damaging his calf and having to take weeks off for recovery each time. Guess he he maybe going too fast. I've had no injuries so must be doing something right. On finishing the programme first time around, even with the walks either side, I was only achieving 3km. But 3km more than I was doing before.

Haha..they’re wolves in sheeps clothing these old folks!!🤣

My partner joined the gym so I thought I’d sneak the c25k in whilst he was off there and then surprise him one day by just sprinting off into the distance...🏎💨..hmmm🤔!!

Oddly he’s done the same as yr hubby, gone hell for leather and damaged his arch in foot so now off the running! Maybe the tortoise will beat the hare after all!!🐢💨
