Advice please 😊

So, last week was my first week of post-graduate 5k runs. I run on the treadmill at the gym at the moment.

I’ve done three full 5k runs. All at 8.2km per hour on the treadmill and it takes me 36.40 to complete the 5k.

I want to improve my time and plan on upping my speed on the treadmill gradually and doing three runs each week. So for example tomorrow I will up it to 8.3 and run that speed Mon, Weds and Fri. Then next week up it to 8.4 and so on.

Is this a reasonable way to do it? I would like to be able to run 5k in 30 mins - is this doable do you think?

I’m a complete novice at this running business - never ran before until I started the C25k so any advice will be gratefully received.

Not an expert but I think that's the way to do it. Gradually and don't try to increase speed and run for longer in the same session.
