Eating bad on rest day

Hi I'm on week seven feel great after a run but on my rest dat feel rubbish and eat rubbish help!!!

Get all the rubbish out of your house and only keep good nutritious, non processed food available. We can coach you on running, but how you eat is somewhat beyond us.

Stick with the running and as you become more and more hooked, hopefully you won't want to compromise your health and fitness by eating crap.

Maybe see a rest day as a recovery refuelling day to help your muscles and prep you for the next run - so that’s good nutritious food. I plan ahead so know what I’m going to be eating then am less likely to grab rubbish food.

You are doing great to have got to week 7. Great news that you feel great after a run. Maybe try different exercise on a rest day and think of things you like to eat that are healthy and make sure you have lots of those around the house.

Most of all, don't beat yourself up about a day when you do eat crap. We all do it sometimes and the running will be doing your health a lot of good. Focus on your achievements.
