Well, day one is complete and actually it wasn't too bad! 8 minutes of running is more than I've done in a very long time and I survived. Now onto Wednesday for run 2!

Hi Pilgrim Soldier, we both started on day 1 today! The podcast idea is brilliant!

Welcome and well done for making a start.

You are amongst several new starters today which can be great for support, but remember, it is your journey and comparison is not always helpful.

Go at your pace, at which you can hold a conversation, not just gasp a few words.

It may seem slow, but it is the best pace for your body to develop and move safely through to graduation.

Enjoy your journey.

Thanks everyone! Really appreciate the support. Legs are more than a bit achy this evening but have hit over 12,000 steps today!
