I am so happy to tell you all that today I ran my first ever half marathon , and I loved it I woke up nervous and thinking why ? Its only about a year since a graduated to 5 k was in my “pen “ for 8.40 this morning anxious but ready to start the Manchester half marathon, having been to the loo 4 times ! This has to be psychological, I can go all day on our busy nhs unit without even thinking of paying a visit
Well I loved it , the atmosphere was great, thousands ran , my new grandson had a sign on his pram stating GO grandma GO. It was fab
I ran the course in 2 hrs 8 mins. Just goes to show anyone can do anything , you just have to believe you can
Hubby is making a scrummy tea . I’ve had a bath with extra Epsom salts . Life today is good
