That was a tough old run, the legs weren't happy really at any point and I seriously doubted whether I'd keep going for the whole 25 mins. But I found some grit and after the half-way bell it became less daunting, though I could have done without the long slow incline in the last 5 mins!
Do I feel a runner yet? No, but I think I might have the makings of one and am looking forward to repeating this run in W7 - onwards and upwards we go π

Yes!!!! I have found with the longer runs (week 7 and on) that I needed more rest between at the beginning and also that the first 10 minutes are always bad. Like 1-5 OK, 6-10 OMG what was I thinking, gets better a bit after that, and then the last minutes (up to where you sense the end coming) are fine. Then there's that tricky end bit where you are WAITING for STUPID podcast/app/whatever to STOP. Is it BROKEN? STOP already!!
I hear you! Distractions from thinking about the time are vital, as many wiser heads have recommended. For me it was dodging puddles, slippy leaves and boggy grass, and putting off the return home up that slope! Feeling fantastic now π
