I suggest a high vis jacket and a head torch with front and rear lights.... I run on country lanes in the Winter and I have to say most motorists aren't very nice to runners so please do take care.... and enjoy it too!!
Well just thought I'd say it's Wk4R3 for me when I get back from work. I get the sense that it's more challenging from here on, right? After all, I'm a week away from W5R3 at 20 minutes. Any wise words for the next week or so?
Thank you. I definitely intend to take it slowly, and breathing is high up on the list of things to do as well As for relaxing and enjoying it, well, I'll do my best that's for sure. I am enjoying running in general, and I honestly never thought I'd say those words.
Week 6 in the bag this morning. Only one issue. The app crashed out after Sarah told me I'd run 12.5 mins, so I plodded on. I'm annoyed as I ended up running for 4.53 kilometres. If I'd of realised Id of finished off the 5K. That will teach me to try to have the zombie app running too! Week 7 bring it on.......
Just graduated the 5K, and I enjoyed by first "free" run without my phone and the app, and instead used a GPS and pacer watch to let me know how far I have gone! Now its time to work on my 5k pace for my first and upcoming race!!
Even with my fall on Thursday, I'm loving this running lark. Out this morning and had a damp run, but still loved it. Running has never ever been an interest, but it is now. Moving on to Week 8 mid week this week.
