I've started having knee pain on the inside of my left knee.. literally seizes up once I've stopped running and is really painful to walk but not to weight bear. Ibuprofen seems to ease it along with some stretches.. anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks in advance π

First thought is your running shoes...
Are they supportive for you, as this can show up as knee pain. You can go to a proper running shop for a gait analysis (take your running shoes) and they will pop you up on their treadmill and check how your foot strikes the ground.
Most good shops offer this service for free, and they will tell you if your shoes are suitable or if you need better support. A lot of the staff at these places are runners themselves and very helpful.
Don't run on a knee that is painful to walk on. This sounds similar to the pain my hubby had and was sorted by changing his running shoes.
Good luck..
Thank you for your advice! I went and got me some proper running trainers (mine were next to useless apparently!) and now it feels like I'm running on air! ππΌββοΈβοΈ
Thank you, that sounds a really good idea! π
