9 weeks ago I couldn't walk, because I had two. Bulging discs in my lower back which pressed on my nerves and caused severe pain on my sciatic nerve. I attended hospital as a day patient and had 8 cortisone injections and was taught how to manage my pain. I started couch to 5 k on week four and yesterday I completed my first 5k park run in 34 minutes. It felt amazing
