I was suppost to start run one of week 8 last Wednesday and due to a few unexpected events I have not done it . As I am over a week late should I repeat week seven or will I still have enough stamina to start week 8 ??

Hi. I'm no expert but I'd start week 8 and see how it goes. It's the same run as week 7, just 3 minutes longer. If it all gets too much, just go into your warm up after 25 minutes. If not keep going. Let us know how you do and good luck. 😃
I agree with TkdMum everything I've read on the forum says in the later stages that your fitness is enough that a few days out isn't going to kill your progress. Give it a go and if it's too hard, then you have your answer. But I am sure you'll be fine. Best of luck next time out

My experience was that once you get to week 7 or 8 you have enough stamina to run a bit further than the time required. I think on W7R3 I ran an extra minute or to just to see if I could. Then on W8R2 I found I had miscalculated the length of the course I'd mapped out and needed to get back to the car to pick up my daughter. So I just ran for the next 5 minutes after the 28 were completed, 33 in total and didn't have any problem at all.
As you've had a week's break maybe just take it a bit slower for your W8 run and see how it goes - but I honestly don't think the extra 3 minutes over W7 are a big deal.
