Finished week 4 and learned a great lesson.

Just finished week 4 and can say that at my weight that I was running too fast for a novice (not run in 22 years). Was able to do the first 3 and 5 minute but by the end of the last 5 was unable to breathe due to asthma.

Dropped speed by about 5% next time and felt amazingly better and was able to run in a much more relaxed way. Didn't need the asthma inhaler.

Lesson learned, LIGHT JOG!

Good for you. I've heard that keeping on going is the important part. The speed will come later.

Good luck with the rest of the program 😁

Yeay.... slow and steady in all aspects of the programme is the way... stamina and running strength takes time to build up...and the idea is to enjoy the journey!
