I am about to do run 3 of week 5 I have definitely downloaded an old programme as on my download the 20 minute runs do not come in until week 7 and 8 so I have decided to continue to the end of week 9 and if I feel I have cheated I will download the correct programme and start from week 5, whatever I wil still have gone running 3 times per week for 9 weeks!!

The original NHS plan definitely has you running 20 mins run 3 of week 5. I think you need it at that stage for the huge confidence boost it gives you. Take is ready steady and you'll do it no problem 😀

Thanks but on what I have week 8 is 28 minutes and week 9 is 40 minutes!!! It does not matter as I am still running 3 times per week I will continue wit what I have and take it from there!!

Week 9 is 40 minutes. If I were you, I would track down the C25K where week 9 is 30 minutes

Yes, exactly as you say...even if you only go out running for 10 minutes a few times a week, it's still *far* better than staying on that couch! Good on ya sarahspain , keep it going. :)

Personally, if I were you I would download all the NHS podcasts (from week 5 run 1) and plonk them onto a cheapo MP3 player (or even your mobile) and go from there. You would then be on exactly the same plan as all of us.

Anyway, whatever you do end up doing, good luck with it. :)

As long as you reach the end and have run 3 x 30 minutes, I think you did it. Well done and keep us posted
