OK, I say I'm on fire but I mean I'm burning!! I've never had my feet so hot during a run. I haven't run in a little over a week as I came down with some virus/cold combined with night shifts I just haven't felt well enough but I thought tonight I'd give it a go. Half way through my feet felt like they were on fire and by the end I could have easily been on the top of a bonfire!
Does the heat make your feet burn like your running on hot coals? Or could it just be me still being poorly?

Have you got proper running socks? Ordinary sports sock just don't cut the mustard, well they didn't for me...you can buy cheap socks from SD or Aldi, give 'em a go...
I get hotter feet in my new running socks and shoes but a lot less sweaty at the end so I think better for my feet then running in sweaty puddles. Don't feel like burning though. Maybe your virus?
Can't say I've ever noticed my feet after running. My face can be burning though when it is very hot. I do have running socks (just cheapo ones but they do the trick).
I use running socks and never had this problem so thought it may be because of how hot it was. It's wiped me out for today as I've been at work but feeling much better poorly wise than I have in the past week. I think I'll try it again and see if the old feet do the same but the frozen peas did come out again so no ice cream was melted during the program! 😉
