Finished week 3, run 3. Ran at Private Godfrey pace. Pain in calf very slight, still got pain in shins, not as sore, some pain in knees. Requested leave of absence, from Captain Mainwaring, Refused!! he should try it instead of puffing and blowing. On the positive side, ran in the rain for the first time last night with the wind blowing in my face, felt brilliant. Slowed right down, Using Deep freeze and trying to do stretches correctly. Week 4 starting tomorrow, scared to look what's in store.

Permission to speak Sir ?!!!

Well done WillieMac, that's another week done and dusted. Nowt wrong in taking some extra rest days if bits are hurting . No pressure at all to finish in 9 weeks.

Running in the rain is great isn't it ? Love it :-) xxx

Love the Dad's Army references but I agree with Poppy, take a few days extra rest to let things settle down. You don't want to end up injured. Good luck🙂

Hey WillieMac - sounds as if it's progressing well. Hope those aches and pains gradually ease as your muscles realise that you mean business!
