Cramping in thigh?

For the past few runs I have had a cramp like pain in my outer left thigh just above the knee - not painful enough to stop me running just hampering my flow! I stretch and massage thighs after run and it stops as soon as I stop - anyone have any ideas? It's a dull ache rather than a pain and if I massage/prod the leg its not painful

I had quite a bit of cramp and weirdly tingly leg goings on. I dubbed it "electric legs"

My husband said it was a sign my legs were sitting up and taking notice that things were changing, and the sensations were a manifestation of that. It kept me awake mostly at night

Make sure to be well hydrated and eat a healthy balanced diet to ensure your vitamin and mineral levels are maintained as befits a runner ☺

As you get fitter and stronger the niggles diminish. Go steady though. Don't overdo it.

Thanks - did wonder if it was dehydration - it has been very hot just lately - when I started it was pretty cool. May have to try and do morning runs!
