W6r3 in the bag on Saturday, even sped up at the end, felt invincible......then a very ouchy knee!  So 2 days in on rest and ice feels bit better, but will give tomorrow a miss as well.  I plan on doing w6 all over again, missing it, dreamt about it, WHAT has happened to me??!! Can't wait for Wednesday 😆

Ouch you knees are not helpful!  Good that rest has allowed it to recover.  From my experience, I find strength and flex exercises done every day have reduced knee injury.  Also, running on soft ground really lessens impact injury - a grass verge when available instead of a path, running on a playing field instead of pavements for example.  Hope your next run goes well

Great advice thanks!  I'll give them a go. I am in middle of nowhere, some verges are ok, if not chewed up by cows! I had a cow jam the other day, had to run up and down the road 3 times while they crossed, must've looked funny😅

Good thing is the grass is getting dryer so we can go almost anywhere, happy running, hope your running progresses well!

Hullo Toomy, I seem to be catching up with you again! Im doing w6 r3 in the next couple of days.  My knees are holding up, it's my heels that have been complaining. They seem to have forgiven me now, so I'm back up to running alternate days. I am also obsessed. I booked a flight yesterday to follow my OH on a business trip to Berlin. First thing I noticed that the hotel is near the Tiergarten - I'll take my trainers!

Hope you're in shape to run on Wednesday!

Hi to you!  I was wondering how you getting on, glad all going well, that last run....wow still over moon I did it:) I wished I'd ignored Laura saying speed up if you want to, never mind, I'll repeat w6 again, just together back gradually. Have a great run in Berlin 👊

25 mins is excellent, well done.  I don't envy you repeating wk6, it's a funny one, but I think I'd do the same. Berlin in September, I do like to have something to look forward to!
