Wow! That's all!
Wow! GNR first mile run in 4:40!: Wow! That's... - Couch to 5K
Wow! GNR first mile run in 4:40!
It's a bit quick, isn't it?!
Ahhh, that's nothing to the likes of you, lol
Not tempted by this one, Steve? xx
LOL Carrie! As you know, I got a new mile PB of 6.24 on Wednesday and even that required an enormous amount of effort!
Yeah, it looks a great race and I'd like to do it one day. I did consider it for this year but instead chose the Belfast half marathon, which is a week today. I'm considering it for next year but am also eyeing-up the Hull Marathon, which is also today, so will clash with the GNR next year. But it does look such a great race that I'll definitely have to do one day. xx
I can't imagine running in such a massive field but I guess there's less chance of coming last with so many runners (and so many in costume!)
Wow, mega impressive time for the elite ladies race!
OMG.
Hehe 1:07 mine was 3:08.
Ooo exciting stuff, Mo Farrah being tested.
Come on Mo!!
59:23!!! Extraordinary
Well done Mo! What a time!
Wow. I had to re-read mile. I was thinking that's fast in kilometers.
Just seen the little segment about Gladys, who's ran the GNR a number of times, and who enjoys her pre-breakfast 5 miler of a morning. She's 84 and a half years old. No such thing as too old! 🏃
It's been a great watch! Loving it. I noticed the 10 k times and thought "flippin eck" !!!! Sheesh!
Hi Miles. Belfast HM!!!! Don't you know it;s the Chesterfield one!!!! LOL
I am missing it! I could spit! I will be there at the start though as there are some of my jog group running in it, so I'm going to see them off.
Mo was awesome. I had to laugh at the way he was breathing down the leader's neck as he zig zagged over the road trying to see where Mo had got to. It was like panto! He's behind you!
MissW! You'll be at Chesterfield next year! It's on my list too at some point. So many races, so little time! But yes, Belfast for me next weekend. I'll write a Long Overdue Update (LOU) after the race.
So yes, though you can't run Chesterfield next week, there's always next year so don't lose hope! x
It's amazingly fast, but I have to confess until I started running I never knew what an achievement it truly is!!
Oh. My. God. Road Runner is apparently alive and kicking.
Amazing ! It makes you realise how truly remarkable these elite runners are doesnt it ?
It just looks so effortless.
Massive big up too though to all those running for charities and all runners taking part.
Brillant ! xxx
Quote of the day, from the GNR:
"myself and Spiderman have both had tendinitis." 😂
Things you never thought you'd hear. 😂
I howled at that!
One of the group had shin splints I heard him say!!!! They had a physio on board! Good job too! They bigged her up at the end
" Batman had shin splints " - That cracked me up ! xxx
