and feeling pretty good. My Parkrun shuffle was no faster yesterday, but maybe it wasn't as painful as it has been. I am actually looking forward to starting week 3, which will have to be tomorrow without a day off, but that is life I guess. Thanks all.

Try and find time for a rest day as that's what makes your running legs. You need time to heal too

Week 3 is good! You'll be fine, if you take it steadily. Have fun!

Can only concur with miss W, the rest days are just as important as the actual running.

It is the healing of little tiny tears in the fibres of your muscles that provide the improved strength but it takes time.
