Finding my stride beyond C25K

A while ago I posted asking for advice on post 5K training programmes.

A few weeks ago, I started the Hal Higdon 10K novice programme and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I've just completed week 5 with a 5 mile run and can now regularly complete 5K runs in (just!) under 30 minutes, so I am getting much fitter and stronger and can feel it when I run. I also enjoy the mix of running and "cross training" (anything other than running) and am toning up and changing shape nicely.

Highly recommend it to anyone looking for something to guide them through "the next step".
