True. Mine failed totally last night. No idea why. I started the thing and never gave it a thought. Checked it a bit later and it was all garbled. It apparently recorded nothing. Tsk

Fortunately it was only a fun run or I'd have been cursing it

This will sund awful but I|'m gald you posted that, I always wondered if Garmin loses the satellite too. RK does occasionally although you can edit after the run. I still keep thinking about a Garmin...

Dont get me wrong Curly, i wouldnt be without my garmin!! I absolutely love it and would recommend to anyone. Mine was £79.00 from argos and is a forerunner 110. Where I live no body gets any phone signal or anything like that so if you dont have trouble with your mobile phone signal then i imagine you would be ok with a garmin? X

It's not the phone signal it's the satellite, RunKeeper works just like a Garmin, and it's a bit wild where I run so I need to carry my phone anyway in case I twist my ankle or something. I've read too that you can't edit on Garmin, I can at least edit on RK.
