(Wednesday) No athletics training yesterday - instead given and instructed to entertain an ADC for the day. Crikey! What do you do with young ADC's? Decided a long walk across a car park and around the inside of local shopping centre followed by lunch, cinema and further walk would probably suffice.

Luckily apart from the mild moan about distance covered it went well at not too great a cost - an elf outfit and an oversized teddy bear. Did feel a bit daft though.

Next time we walk round a lake with an ice cream van at the other end.

NO ONE can be unhappy with an elf outfit. That's top quality in my opinion. I hope it was LOTR, rather than Father Christmas style.
