(Saturday) Or do I mean me after 8/1? Please send out the orchestra, it will be needed.
This is a military base situated near Alkali L... - Couch to 5K
This is a military base situated near Alkali Lake. It isn't much, but if you go there, you might get a few clues as to what happened to you.
I can play the trumpet voluntary on the piano. Honestly. Good luck with 8/1.
Not sure I'd be much help in the orchestra I used to play the electric organ (yes really) it's not a very portable instrument. I suppose I could dust off the recorder I am sure I can remember three blind mice!
Good luck - I shall be out and will clear the way as best as I can
Harp with left hand, flute with right, left foot drum, right foot shaking bells, triangle beater strapped to forehead, triangle hung from harp neck .... headbanging action.
It's my very best effort for a worthy cause
See below
Tragedy strikes. Had forgotten promise to track down Wargs. Departure 7:30. Now in convoy with given list of troops. Hopefully return uninjured capable of run.
Also many thanks for growing repertoire of orchestra. If you're not available to play later Corporal poppypug (ents div) can bring them along in the tartan trolley and the weather balloon if we can get it mended in time. Captain Waletta shot it down as it was making too much noise the other day. She didn't realise it was important to the cause. Her ADC has the sewing kit out.
Wobble reporting for duty, with trusty hound, sah!
We have been practicing our stealth moves and will sneak up on the enemy, no probs
(Not So)AncientMum (it's a long story) reporting for duty with bejewelled ocarina. Have been practicing long and hard and can now play Hot Cross Buns and Pease Pudding Hot but sadly, haven't managed the Jammie Dodge Waltz yet!
Pops! Tragedy struck! Had forgotten promise to take toy army to hunt Wargs. Heading back across the plains of Rohan now. Toy army to their own leaders. No casualties suffered so should make it out within the hour. Roads paved with Dodgers! Get me to 8/3.
No,Captain Waletta wrecked the balloon. All instruments in tartan trolley now though.
I'm hoping to set off on return to camp once I've got the superhero kit on. The helium will lift me and it will be easier to run.
Man the tartan trolley, weather balloon and other assorted instruments, I'm off. 8/1
Good luck Sir. Am confined to barracks with bockerty back but have trusty bejewelled ocarina ready to play victory fanfare as you and trusty weather balloon and tartan trolley appear over the horizon.
Back. About to keel. Thanks for help. I mean that. A lot of this is classed as silly by some, but i do mean that.
Am sure recovery will be quick. Well done. Been following these despatches with interest. Not silly at all. Battling NHS by infiltrating it's c25k division is a jolly sound objective. Keep marching on I say. X
Jaqs99, having achieved 8/1 am sending out honest, sincere thanks to all who are supporting me. Usual services return tomorrow.
Good news. Sincerely well done. That's a toughie! How about a slower pace for 8/3? Less depleting and gets you to the end of the march....
Danger I'd be going backwards!
Haha. No seriously. I played "how slow can you go..!" On many of my runs. The trick is tiny tiny steps until you get your breath back or Laura says stop. Worth a try ..?
Congratulations Sir, you're an inspiration to the troops. Permission to play Hot Cross Buns!
Thank you so much for your help. Buns will be fab - is there a Cadburys Dairy Milk tune?
Everyone's a fruit & nut case, crazy for those Cadburys nuts & raisons. I think it goes to the tune of the sugar plum fairy. This is also my husband's ring tone. Should I worry? Well done on 8/1. Go Dozzer! Go Dozzer!
I was once told the definition of an intellectual is someone who could listen to the sugar plum fairy music and not think about chocolate. That's me out then!
Pops am back. Nearly gave in after five mins, but I listened to you and followed the sight of the trolley and the sound of the orchestra and it saw me to the end. Thank you so much. Can I have that tea now?
Well done dozzer - you are so nearly there! Slow and steady wins. Permission to fashion a culinary wonder from the Mother's Pride white sliced, Flora Buttery and rainbow cake sprinkles?
Sorry
