W5 day2 ankles hurt someone said not enough stretching ? Or could it be footwear ? Just looked at days ahead looks scary !! Well done all x

Don't look ahead! Just think about the run you're on! Get that one out the way and then perhaps think about the next one. Breaking the task down into little bits is a lot easier than looking at the big picture
Aching ankles might not be anything to do with stretching or shoes. It could be that your ankles are getting used to the extra work they're having to do. If you are having a days rest between runs, doing the warm up and cool down walks, then you should be fine. Have your shoes been an issue before now?

Ha ha! We've cracked it! Maybe your legs or knees might ache too, which is all normal as your limbs are getting used to the extra work.
