My legs are sooooo sore.Wonder if a hot bath is the answer.
Well I've done run1week 6.that was really toug... - Couch to 5K
Well I've done run1week 6.that was really tough but I don't think as bad as run 1.I think the killer is stopping to walk and then off again
I'm sure you've had that lovely soak in the bath by now, but it sounds like a great idea!
One suggestion I have for sore legs is that you could try rubbing some Deep Heat into them after your runs. I found that very soothing when my knees felt a bit sore. I'm sure you're already doing stretches after running?
W6 was horrendous for me, I didn't like the return to intervals. W6R3 was fine because it was a steady 25 minutes. The stop/start nature of the first two runs that week after your 20 minute run in W5 was very tough. It does, however, prepare you for your 25 minutes at the end of the week.
You are doing brilliantly - not long to go now!
Haha Didnt manage the bath just a hot shower, and actually went for a short walk.I don't feel too bad tonight, but tomorrow will tell.I don't think my husband can understand the fuss.He has been running for some time and has never found it difficult.Very annoying really.I think you're right about those intervals.Very difficult.Thankyou for you're ongoing support xx
My husband is the same, just doesn't understand all the fuss at all. He's only actually started running recently, but is much faster than me already & is finding C25K much easier than I did. He is very supportive & proud of me though, which is lovely, and so are my sons. They are very impressed with their old mum!
