I must use it as a spur to keep achieving this reduction!

How can any improvement in your time be bad? Do you want to get faster? You just did! Well done.

I know you are right. I suppose the truth is I am very competitive even if not very good at something and therefore always want to get better. Really enjoyed the structure of c25k, so went out with c25k+ straight away and have floundered with these. Various people have suggested I push on to a longer distance but I am conscious of a slipped disc dating back 25 years and feel that it is best to just stick with 30 mins running bu hope to achieve the magic 5k distance.

Gutted to read again this morning that you are still waiting for your Park Run time - even now have me checking out the Killerton Parkrun for results!!

Wow that's an amazing time to knock off in one go, well done. And I have to say any reduction is a new PB to your credit, so keep up the good work.
