however I have really hurt my shin on one of my legs. The last run of wk2 my leg felt fine but as soon as I started running it was really painful. I managed to finish the 30 minutes and was really chuffed but sore.
Anyway I haven't been out today like I should have (its very windy and wet by the sea) and am concerned about my sore leg. So tomorrow I am going swimming before work.
Does anyone know if I should do this for a few days and then hopefully leg will feel better and do another wk2 run before moving onto wk3?

Knee and shin pain is quite common with new runners. I suffered the same the first time I did C25K but it was due to my own supidity, I ran too far too soon. I treated my painful shins with ice packs and rested for two weeks. That sorted the pain and I took things slow and steady after that and never had the same problem again.
