Join us for Pulmonary Chat Tuesday September 17th at 4:30 PM Eastern time (New York Time) as we continue our mission to provide tools for living with lung disease.

This week: The Role of Noninvasive Ventilation (NIV) Therapy in the Management of COPD + Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) presented by Daniela Gautschi, Director of Clinical Advocacy (EU) & Luciana Rabello de Oliveira, Director of Clinical Advocacy (North America).

NIV plays a significant role in the management of both COPD and OSA. Its benefits extend across acute and chronic conditions, especially for patients experiencing overlapping conditions, often referred to as” overlap syndrome” (COPD +OSA). Join us for an informative webinar where we will…

Discuss the additional consequences of OSA in the patient with COPD

Define NIV, how it works and how it supports desired outcomes.

Review current treatment options and barriers to therapy.

There will be a Q&A where you can ask YOUR questions.

👋

I have just registered for this event as I use a BiPAP machine and I am looked after/supported by a Respiratory and OSA Team at Guys and St. Thomas’s hospital in London.

I hope I am able to link up with the event which should be at 21:30 hours UK time.

It would also be good to connect with other BiPAP users. I have asthma and COPD (non-smoker) and severe obstructive sleep apnea. I am also unfortunate to have Parasomnia which affects my sleep considerably.
