I've been using it for about 2 years Levina. It took about 3 weeks to kick in properly. I also take 2 puffs, twice a day of serevent .I find this combination along with walking a lot of steps is keeping me fine. My FEV is 78%

I was given Ventolin first, but didn't really work for me. Then I got Seebri but still breathing not right so went back to Gp & got the Serevent. This combination works well for me. Give it a few weeks & if your breathing isn't easier go back to your GP. It's just a matter of getting the right combination of inhalers for you and of course not smoking and getting those lungs working through moderate exercise. I'm loads better now than I was 2 years ago when first diagnosed 2 years ago, haven't had to take my blue inhaler for months. Hope this helps. On a side note , most times I have to puncture the capsule more than once lol
