liners

I have been talking to a gentleman in Canada who sells liners for ostomates, they are used inside the pouch, apparently are easy to use and reduce smell and also they are thrown away so the stoma is not emptied, the liner is removed and flushed away, they mean in the US that pouches last much longer, and the cost of the liners is much cheaper than the pouches,

does anyone use them in the UK?

if you live in the US do you use them? and what have been your experiences of them?

would you use a liner if they were in the UK?

I can see why in the US they would be popular, as anything to make the bags last longer will certainly save cash, but in the UK that is not such an issue so I have not yet heard of anyone using them.

I'd also be interested to hear how people get on with them!
