Hi everyone can anyone get twited bowels again after having aoperation to get rid of it? cos my specialist told me that I shouldnt get it again i was just wondering if we can get it again?

Hi raqmc, you have to listen to the advice given by your specialist, he will know exactly what was done during your surgery and as a result the likelihood of a twist reoccurring. There is general stuff out there on the internet about this subject BUT you must remember that is only general stuff and not specific to what you had done, I would tend not to pay too much attention to the internet in this case. I am assuming that your specialist and surgeon are one and the same. If not it may be worth talking to your surgeon. Stick with the specialist/surgeons advice.
