Hi all, where do you start with this ...62 year old male I had Crohns diagnosed aged 26 by 27. I just dealt with it myself till 62... I have been so lucky. The the News after 4 pains over 8 months that i have a malignant tumour... well thats life. Opp went better than expected just removing the colon, left side was retained. MRI and CT were all good. So the Opp was on the 10th and now been home almost a week. And feel fantastic, Trying foods I have not eaten in years an even a glass or 2 of red wine :) So problems nothing really just what I would consider recovery. I bought a mobility scooter so I can get a mile down the road to Dr's or Hospital all within a mile of the house. Shops just again a mile so all is good. I just wanted independence and to be able to go to the Park with our dogs and other half. Most days have been great wit ha couple of hiccups today being one of them ... Yep I ate too much yesterday .... and I had a Gammon steak well now I know Pork and gammon might take a bit more work... but I have had roast chicken a Curry a Burger amongst other things. cornflakes for breakfast poached eggs on toast to name a few. All was good till today .... knocked out today stomach gripes stoma is behaving its self and all looks good, just all a bit tender today. but happy with everything that has been offered The Hospital stunning, staff amazing, my room was great and own bathroom Tv was just great. Home And I have a Annex in the garden with electric bed chair internet, tv. Till I feel a bit better and will use it when the Chimo starts. Other half on the Buggy nicknamed Darth in the park with our three Portuguese waterdogs. Teddy Izzy and Nilla.
