Depending on what the protocol is per your doctor's office/insurance, they may have you do a non-invasive test, such as a FIT test or a Stool DNA test which will be looking for abnormaliities in your stool.

Our guts are heavily impacted by stress - so do your best to channel the nervous energy into action to get to see a specialist as soon as possible.

There are so many possible reasons for the symptoms you are experiencing, but the only way to rule out colorectal cancer will be a thorough screening by a specialist.

Great - glad to hear that you have a colonoscopy this Tuesday!

It is really important to follow whatever prep the GI has prescribed for you, exactly as the instructions say to do, because you want to have the cleanest colon possible, so that they can get the best possible view and photos of your colon.
