Hemorrhoid

Hey guys so for the past month I’ve had bloody stool. I’m 15 years old . I have been experiencing blood on the edge of my stool, sometimes discomfort in the anus but not often the tool a blood test and everything was fine I also did 2 stool test, my doctor thinks it’s hemorrhoids so he gave me a medicine for it. Yesterday I put my finger up my Anus to detect a hemorrhoid but I didn’t feel anything. Could a hemorrhoid be farther up????

Thank you for posting again and I'm really sorry to hear you are still experiencing discomfort and blood.

Was this a general practitioner or a specialist that you saw? Did the Doctor recommend any further tests? What medication were you given for the hemorrhoids? I would recommend that you ask your doctor to investigate further, this could be a flexible sigmoidoscopy or a colonoscopy.
