Hi this is my first post here,my husband has been diagnosed with colon cancer after a recent bowel screening (Thank god for the screening program)He is due to have op on 2nd April and was wondering if I will be able to visit him when hes in and even be able to go on ward when he is admitted, due to Covid19.I am social distancing at the moment as I am imuno-suppressed due to being on Methotrexate for r.arthritis.Cant bear to think of him on his own at this worrying time.
thanks for listening,any thoughts?

Hi just read your post, I'm sure he will be vey well looked after by them lovely nurses, it must be a stressful time for you both, I have rheumatoid arthritis and on Benipali injections, I went to hospital last night and they would only let the patient in due to the virus .
Facetime him on the phone if it worries you. Covid -19 is scary when you have underlining conditions. You can always wear a gown, face mask, and gloves. My son just seen his baby being born and was able to stay in the hospital until baby was released. I think it is only one family member that can visit. God bless and I will pray for you two.
Thanks for your reply,He is out of hospital now,I wasn't allowed to visit, but kept in touch by phone,so was hard at the time but all is good now. Facetime wouldn't work as wi-fi not good enough
