Blood Clot when I did a poo.

I'm new to the forum.

Worried I have cancer.

Had back pain for 4 months and bothered with IBS .

This morning there was a large clot of fresh blood in the toilet Pan after I did a poo.

Does anyone have experience of this?

This is absolutely not regular and you need to seek professional medical advice now. It could be piles or a number of things . A colonoscopy will tell and your go will send you for one within 2 weeks. It's painless as you are given an injection of anaesthetic. The specialist will be able to see exactly what is going on in your intestines. CRC is generally quite treatable and with foliox advuent chemo. There is a 70% success rate. Now call the GP for an appointment.

Do, as advised above it could be just piles, however the sooner that you are seen the better, I know that it scary, but early intervention allows for a good outcome.

Get yourself checked out right awzy. This is not normal at all. You require a colonoscopy to ensure that you don't have polyps, or any other obstructions. PLEASE get checked out right away!

Yes I did and I found out I have precancer of the colon and the esophagus and I'm having my gallbladder removed in aug
