CMT in the news .... so sad that it had to be this way.

I read in a daily newspaper today that the poor young mother who was mown down by a van in Cardiff at the weekend, was a 32 year old CMT sufferer. That's being cited as the reason why she was able to push her two children out of the van's path, but was not able to move fast enough to save herself. This is the first time I've ever seen CMT mentioned in the national media. It's so sad that it has taken such a terrible event to bring the existence of CMT to a wide audience.

Yes I read this too. Its a pity the paper didnt take the opportunity to highlight CMT

Oh gosh!!! I've often said to people that if I had to run to get the kids out of the way of a car I couldn't do it! how awful for her and her family. I'll pray for them all.

The newspapers have highlighted our condition but will anyone REALLY investigate it? I doubt it evenwen it contributed to the death of a young woman.
