Hello all,

I have CMT & also have an Acoustic Neuroma. Do any of my fellow CMT'ers out there have a Acoustic Neuroma?

Maybe I'm the odd one out.

Hello Handmaid,i have an acoustic neuroma and CMT believe it or not!!i am on watch and wait for my acoustic neuroma(its 6mm in size) and i was diagnosed with it back in 2012 when i had an MRI scan in relation to my CMT diagnosis at the time.

I have used a tens machine on a back injury and it allowed me to fly to Johannesburg and drive whilst there. I have never tried it on my charcots but can swear by them for the control of other pain such as back injury. My was recommended by a sport’s physician but they do need to be set up by someone who knows what they are doing. There are a number of different settings for the type of relief they give and then on the other setting is the strength of the power to be delivered. The other this with there use is they can only be used for a sent period of time otherwise they can do damage or so I was advised.
