Hi

Im reaching out to hear if anyone has any good suggestions for fatigue - having been diagnosed with cmt in the 80's from birth and many operations along the way its all starting to take its toll, over the last few months ive noticed my body become more stiff and sore, as for my sleeping patterns they have become broken with constant restless legs or pain waking me 5 or 6 times a night.

wondering if anyone has any suggestions of what i can try to beat the waking and also to try and loosen the stiff feeling in my legs

I've had similar problems. I've tried different things over the years. For me taking magnesium before bed seems to work.

Start with a small dose and give yourself some time to adjust to it. Later on drop me a message. I'd like to know if it works for you as well.

I've never found anything, last time I asked a dr he said if he knew he'd be doing it himself!!

Personally I take a couple aspirin an hour before bed and a fleece blanket and wrap around my legs from knees down so the air isn't on them helps abit but doesn't completely stop

I take Ropinerole, generic Requip. Works great. Without it, i wouldn’t sleep a wink

Hello to worried >>>>

Try Amitriptiline, and CBD oil (3/4 drops) 1 hour before bedtime:

Hi I'm the same with my sleep bed is not a comfortable place to be as it puts pressure on my knee joints, sometimes I put a pillow between my knee to relieve it. There is a product that apparently helps with the leg thing, not tried I and I can't think of the name but, I'm sure you will find it if you do a search. Maybe try night nurse to aid your sleeping. Or CBD oil. Rubbing it in your legs. Maybe with a look into that. Good luck with it tho.
