I have been diagnosed with CMT 1B I am worried that if my children have inherited this they may be unable to get a mortgage.

I wondered if anyone had experienced any difficulties when applying for a mortgage?

Hi. I have not heard of any problems with getting mortgages. CMT is not a life-limiting condition (usually). I know I have spoken with an insurance broker within the last couple of years regarding life insurance, and they checked with the underwriters, who said it wasn't relevant.

I've never had a problem. I'm 61 and have had umpteen mortgages over the years, including one just a few weeks ago.

I've faced this situation before, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that there's nothing to worry about. I sought advice from Mortgage Broker Cardiff and this specialist helped me a lot to cope with these problems with my loan. It really turned out to be very useful for me, I think that it will be effective for you too, because this company performs its consultations very efficiently and all the clients who contacted them are very satisfied.
