Hi Loulabell,

I cannot see anywhere in your profile where you’ve been diagnosed with CLL or where it’s been suspected. It would be inappropriate for members on here to speculate or offer advice on your symptoms or to give you any impression that your issues are in any way related to blood cancer. Please pursue this further medically as I see you’re only 44.

I’m afraid that a site dedicated solely to Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia isn’t the right place for you to be exploring your health issues unless you’ve been diagnosed and not mentioned it.

Best wishes for resolving them,

Newdawn

Would like to add that, don't know where you are but my son went through hell gastrointestinally for nearly a year before a nurse (not doctor) tested him for alpha gal, which is gotten from ticks in the US and causes allergy to ALL mammal products (so no milk, gelatin, but fine with chicken and seafood). He is doing much better now.

Lou is in the UK where AGS is exceptionally rare. I think it wise if we refrain from offering possible medical reasons for her symptoms generally however.

If your spleen is enlarged, seek advice from a hematologist. He'll know more.

Have you spoken to your GP about Peri Menopause.... some of your symptoms point in that direction at your age.

That’s fine Lou. I wanted to jump in quickly because some answers could have unnecessarily spooked you if you didn’t know the remit of the site. Hope you find some answers soon and only glad you don’t have reason to join us!
