Has anyone received the Pemgarda infusion for covid protection ? And if so, what kind of reaction did you have?

Len: Thank you so much for sending. I am scheduled to receive in two weeks and was curious how it is being received. Read about it, but like to hear from our group. Thanks again.

I had it in mid-September. No reactions during the infusion and I felt fine the next day. My dr allowed me to get PEMGARDA after my IVIG infusion (on the same day).

I had my first Pemgarda infusion in early August. No reaction besides being a little tired the next day. I'll have another infusion the first week of November.

Happy Saturday

I had my second Pemgarda infusion yesterday and it went just fine. No reactions to speak of besides a bit of tiredness as well.

I sure feel lucky that we are able to get these extra protections.

It's great that you guys across the pond are able to get Pemgarda. Not available in the UK.

Neither was Evusheld, in spite of 40+ other countries buying it in for their vulnerable, and reporting success with it. We are still waiting for the verdict on Sipavibart (Evusheld2). By the time it (might) get approval, all of the 2024 variants will have passed it by.

I took part in the Supernova trial, so not best pleased. Our new government are also completely ignoring the promises made in this context whilst in opposition. Grrrr. 🤬
