you’re not too old for the Stem cell/ Bone Marrow Transplant.. It does help if the Chemo treatments have arrested the disease and put you in a better health situation? You will have to act quickly with Richters, as it is very aggressive and getting a donor for the transplant takes time to test and match. Maybe your treatment is CAR-T and you’ll be using your own modified Tcells.

I’m in the US A and my donor was from Germany. I was diagnosed with the transformation from CLL to Richters in early January. We were hoping for a transplant in April/May. It didn’t happen until end of June. Maybe things will be quicker in UK. The actual transplant is a breeze. It’s all the after medications side affects and sometimes Graft Vs Host Disease you need to overcome. In my case the cancer appears to be gone. Still a lot to do and maintain but the alternative didn’t seem like much of a choice.
