peripheral neuropathy

Hello, I am on R and V as a second line treatment having relapsed after a short number of months following two years of I and V on the FLAIR trial.

I am having problems with peripheral neuropathy pains which medications aren’t really helping with……and the cold weather definitely doesn’t help!

I am IGHV unmutated and have the BRAF mutation.

Is peripheral neuropathy indicated in CLL? And has anyone found any treatments or medications helpful?

Thank you for any thoughts or advice!

I'm so sorry you're going thru this. I've been there and it can become very painful, getting worse if not addressed. My comment about it is in one of the links Len shared below, but here's a direct link: healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo...

My peripheral neuropathy turned out to be caused by cervical radiculopathy, which was a direct result of my posture, not CLL. I spent years with my head positioned too far forward, especially at my computer, which caused a pinched nerve in my neck. My neck felt fine, but my hands went numb. I think we end up assuming everything is CLL. I didn't need any drugs, just some physical therapy exercises. I still do the exercises every day and am very aware of my posture.

Everyone is different, so I don't mean to suggest your situation is the same. But the exercises are harmless.

I hope you find some relief soon!
