Woke up.this morning and found a small what I think is a lymph node swelled and tender behind my ear..should I be concerned about this? Came upon it by chance..I'm newly diagnosed with my blood counts.in the very low range...5000's..

Under the weather
Hi Scared, The infections that can affect the lymph nodes behind the ear are bacterial infection of the pharynx, tonsils or larynx. Often a link between throat infections and a swollen node in this area. It’s actually our body doing its job but with CLL, everything seems more scary. As you’ve developed these symptoms to coincide with it, could be a natural link but if it persists and you’re worried, have a word with your doctor.

Wow now that is quite an online name 🫣Scared2023 go now ->Empowered 2024!!! All this ish is scary but put it in perspective & live your best life. I believe that you are in W&W now?
So like what was expressed here, lymph nodes/symptoms wax & wane, come & go!!!
I had prominent lymph nodes on & off for 10yrs. I actually allowed my lymph nodes to notify me of a problem because thats what they did, clumped up wherever the issue was. With my Cervical Lumbar Radiculopathy, I had a permanent lymph node on my Sternocleudomastoid Muscle. Then they would clump up in my groin or even in my intestines & I would remedy them with a massage/steam room, detox & finally going 100% Plantbased. We learn how to adapt, continue to monitor but move on & enjoy this life while we can…
Don’t be Scared but be Prepared🙌🏾
Thanks CoachVera! I read your bio and I am.in awe of your strength through being a single parent, a nurse an athlete and a CLL warrior. I have recently started healthy eating and I too am a fan of massages and saunas. I hope to one day be able to put this in perspective as so many people on here have done.
Thank you Misty..I think I'm also hypersensitive now since dx. I seem to notice every little thing that didn't seem.to cause concern before.
I just believe all the corny stuff, like your life can be whatever you make it. Just because you get knocked down, you don’t have to stay down. Living with the knowledge of a ticking time bomb 💣 is not for the faint of heart. But it could always be worst…
This new year some of the motivational speeches said that someone in their grave would want to trade places with you even though you think that your situation is so bad. Man or Woman you are alive & it means everything to me. We put up with a lot in this life & this diagnosis is one of those things.
What I learned in these 8.5months of treatment is that my body has 100% told me everything I need to know. I am even more leery to trust a doctor on face value or even their reputation, I must vet them. Also all your doctors do not have to be good, just a few good will do lol 😂
My Plantbased Organic Lifestyle has given me a strong foundation with regular exercise & all the 8 Laws of Health as my most trusted guide. Let food be your medicine. If you stay ready to fight then it doesn’t matter when it comes🤷🏽♀️
I suggest you see your GP? This gives some possible causes osmosis.org/answers/cervica..., but you're gonna need a proper work up I think.
