I received a call from my haematologist. My white blood cell count has improved but once again my reds are depleting faster than reproducing. On Prednisolne and Lansoprazole for 4 weeks to try to redress the balance. Wishing one and all a happy and healthy New year.

Happy New Year Jack, eventually! Sorry to read that your troubles continue and hope for an improvement as the year progresses, yes you do need a break! 2023 was the cardio year for me, things have stabilised with medication and can look forward to 2024.

Wishing you all the very best,

Michael

Awe, I hope it goes well for you and that your red blood cells improve.

Are there any signs you are bleeding into you bowels (dark colored stool for example).

Just food for thought for you and your doctor. It can be tested for with a simple test called stool guiac.

god bless and happy new year
