I was put in St Micheals Hospita;l from a infection of my coplon. stayed 5 days then sent to St Micheals rehab and was there for 6 days. They came in and told me I had to stay another 7 days. I was angry because theyb had ied to me abut the help they were going to give me then said they were not. so I requested to sign a release and go home. They werte persistant thsat I stay. But my mind was made up. I got home and two days later I noticed these genitiel bumps and severe itching. I got on the internet and discovered I had a severe case of Norweigen Crusted Scabies. Then after using the cream The emergency room prescribed about three times, The things werte still there. I tried the sulpher and other meds I ordered online but nothing got rid of them. then I noticed they were also in my urin. I went to emergency room again . More cream, also two weeks worth of lavaquin. Have been back to emmergency three more times and always was prescribed Levaquin but it has no effect on them. They did extensive blood test and ty are in my blood. Nothing works. I've had them now for almost two years. Just found out I have pulmanary Fibrosis. I think these damn things are going to kill me. I didn't deserve this. I did nothing wrong to get infested with these things. Anyone else infested from going to rehab?

Sorry to hear of your problems, but you've posted in a leukemia support group. I suspect another community may be of more assistance to you.

You sound like me...I have been fighting these bugs for over two years....Several dermatology appointments...Ivermectim, permethium, predisone, Busirone, Klonapin,

I have been misdiagnosed medically three times....These bugs have been around since the 1600s....You would think that our expensive and highly trained Medical Practitioners would have a clue as to how to eradicate this infestation. I am also 73...I think it is all about the money now !! The human race has lost.

Hi I have crusted or Norwegian scabies. I just cannot get a diagnosis. I have seen several private Doctors and they are always looking for the rash associated with the usual scabies. However with this form of scabies there are scratches and red spots.It is usually misdiagnosed as post scabies rash or another skin condition. I have used the cream but it cannot get rid of it. Do you have any advice ? I have had it for a few years. My G P needs a diagnosis to prescribe ivermectin.

ve had scabies for the last month and a half, and I have done as much research as possible. Couldn’t find anything that was working for me today I took petroleum jelly, mixed it with tea tree oil, smothered my body in. It sat around in it for five hours, watching the scabies pour out of my body, wiping them off and reapplying mixture I cannot believe I have used so many chemicals among everything else I’ve tried only to find out some cheap solution like petroleum, jelly and tea tree oil would cause these things to suffocate. I hope this helps spread the word if it does.
