Is arthritis symptoms, osteoporosis, or tears to muscles , more prone to patients with CLL/SLL. I definitely feel like I’m having more trouble with bones, muscle tears etc. since I have been diagnosed , I like to exercise, and I don’t go overboard but still having complications !!!! Thank you

arthritis with CLL/SLL
Hi Gino23,

Your question on arthritis is common, as many of us have autoimmune issues that may be more common due to the damage / imbalance of our immune systems disrupted by CLL. The research doctors are trying to figure this out, but it seems that a normal immune system is carefully balanced (like a house of cards). Remove or change one factor ( e. g. IgE ) and a CLL patient can experience one or more of the 100+ known autoimmune problems.

I went to PT when my back began to hurt five years after being diagnosed. The PT not only helped my back but my leg pain. It turned out that my muscle pain in my legs was relieved by doing balance strengthening exercises.
I have horrible arthritis made worse by CLL and now long Covid. I take a lot of advil and acetaminophen.
Not necessarily. Likely depends from age. Older folks are more likely to have both conditions at the same time than younger ones. How's your diet? Do you eat anti-inflammatory foods and avoid inflammatory ones? That would be the first thing to check.
