CLL and coughing
You ask about coughing. What is the cause of your coughing?
Is this of a post-COVID cough or a recent respiratory infection?
Finding the cause of the problem is important. What does your GP say?
Linda an, I’ve had a persistent cough since I had Covid in May this year. It comes on suddenly, resulting in watering eyes and runny nose. Most of the time it is a dry hacking cough, but I have noisy inspiratory and expiratory breathing resulting in nearly choking. I have left vocal cord paralysis since covid.
Indie.
I have fairly persistent cough after being ventilated for something unrelated to covid or CLL. It was suggested to me that sucking something would help, and it was best to avoid things like glacier mint because they have sharp edges when you have been sucking them for a little while.
I was expecting the doc to suggest something yucky. But she didnt. She said if my throat is really sore and making me cough, suck a one of the small squares from a larger bar of chocolate - dark chocolate if I cope with the test. I use Green and Blacks 95% coco content and it really does work.

I use OLBAS LOZENGENZES sugar free with Black Currant. Also cheddar cheese . I use a LEVOIT cold mist humidifier with peppermint oil in the chamber. I now ordered also a LEVOIT air purifier.
