My headaches have stopped. I am still having pain in my leg and arm muscles. My ALC has come down to 106. Happy about that.

I’m on my 4th month. Headache went away with a cup of coffe and at about 30 days no more headaches. A few odd cramps, some unusually easy bruising but all that gone at about month3. Drink plenty water!

My nodes shrank quickly, I feel really good as I guess my body enjoys the help in the fight. My bloodwork is all trending as predicted and in a good direction. We are fortunate to have this medication!

Sounds like you too are doing well with subsiding headaches, coffee helped mine.

All the best to you !!!

Your anaemia and the early impact of your treatment on your tumour burden will be responsible for a lot of your tiredness. You mentioned that your iron was low a while back - was that from a blood test? You really can't tell what's causing anaemia without an iron/folate/B12 study, which is a fasting blood test your general doctor can order. Having too much iron can be dangerous as in about 5% of the population, it can build up in the organs (hemochromatosis). Keep in mind that Calquence will somewhat suppress your bone marrow, while also beginning to clear out the CLL infiltration and that can also cause anaemia.

You had some good tips on how to boost your iron in response to your earlier post, but don't overlook B12 (also available from meat, but often supplemented in cereals, soy milk and other processed foods) and very importantly, folate from green leafy vegetables.
