Due to the fact that I was on Carvedilol bp meds off and on during my V+O treatment, I had to adjust my Venetoclax dosage accordingly. Because of this I have four unopened 120 tab bottles left over. I tried to donate them to SIRUM, a group that dispenses donated medicines to the needy but they couldn't take mine because I live in the great state of California, California does not allow medications to be donated. I want to donate them, I hate to trash them because they are very expensive. Any ideas? Feel free to pm me.

Something appears to have changed since this post was written, even though the referenced source on states where you can donate (now 40 including California) is maintained and was last updated last month.
I filled out the form on SIRUM's website and after I completed the section that required my address, a pop window opened stating that the state of California does not allow drug donations. I'm sure pharma is behind the change.
I couldn't find mention of the change via search engines and the SIRIUM website doesn't seem to provide any history. If pharmaceutical companies were behind the change, I expect another large state would follow. I'm sorry that there doesn't appear to be a legal means for you to provide your unused meds to others. Thanks for trying.
I just called and talked to SIRUM and they told me They couldn't accept from CA but they could from say New York where I just happen to have a sister. Problem solved.
